Dr. Young’s Casebook
21 August 2016, 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Dr. Young was the resident doctor in Harcourt during the turbulent railway construction era. His appointment was resented by the established medicos and his first attempt to admit a man to hospital was rebuffed. Often on the spot in emergencies, Dr Young became known for a fatal flaw.
Those were the days when unexpected death was investigated promptly by the coroner, court cases were fully reported and the underside of the community was laid bare. This tell-all session will be a fireside chat, followed by afternoon tea.
